In-Home Sales Professional

Some sales experience and mechanical aptitude or HVAC experience preferred. Must be willing to run evening appointments Monday-Thursday at 6 or 7PM and a rotating Saturday shift. We provide all necessary training, job tools, laptop, cell phone, and Pronto-branded clothing.
Meets with customers to profitably sell HVAC equipment in line with business objectives and customer needs. Performs Home Energy Assessments as needed. Job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Produce business growth by profitably selling HVAC products and services, either through customer leads or self-generated leads.
- Perform load calculations and other technical requirements in support of equipment recommendations and utility rebate requirements.
- Process sales agreements and job paperwork, including permits for jobs and utility rebates.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products and services offered.
- Coordinate with customers regarding job scheduling and job payment.
- Recommend and sell products and services where appropriate.
- Perform duties inherent in all supervisory, professional and administrative positions.
- Consistent with all positions in this classification, additional projects, tasks and/or duties beyond what is outlined here may be assigned as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS – PREREQUISITES:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency using personal computers and standard business software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
