Some sales experience and mechanical aptitude or HVAC experience preferred. Must be willing to run evening appointments Monday-Thursday at 6 or 7PM and a rotating Saturday shift. We provide all necessary training, job tools, laptop, cell phone, and Pronto-branded clothing.

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

Meets with customers to profitably sell HVAC equipment in line with business objectives and customer needs. Performs Home Energy Assessments as needed. Job functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Produce business growth by profitably selling HVAC products and services, either through customer leads or self-generated leads.
  • Perform load calculations and other technical requirements in support of equipment recommendations and utility rebate requirements.
  • Process sales agreements and job paperwork, including permits for jobs and utility rebates.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding products and services offered.
  • Coordinate with customers regarding job scheduling and job payment.
  • Recommend and sell products and services where appropriate.
  • Perform duties inherent in all supervisory, professional and administrative positions.
  • Consistent with all positions in this classification, additional projects, tasks and/or duties beyond what is outlined here may be assigned as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS – PREREQUISITES:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency using personal computers and standard business software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
