Some sales experience and mechanical aptitude or HVAC experience are preferred. Must be willing to run evening appointments Monday-Thursday at 6 or 7PM and a rotating Saturday shift. We provide all necessary training, job tools, laptop, cell phone, and Pronto-branded clothing.
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Meets with customers to profitably sell HVAC equipment in line with business objectives and customer needs. Performs Home Energy Assessments as needed. Job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Create business opportunities by selling plumbing installations and service with provided leads or organically.
- Perform load calculations and other technical requirements in support of equipment recommendations and utility rebate requirements.
- Process sales agreements and job paperwork, including permits for jobs and utility rebates.
- Coordinate scheduling and payment directly with customers.
- Answer customer questions about estimates.
- Give product or service recommendations and complete sales when the need arises.
- Recommend and sell products and services where appropriate.
- Conduct all administrative, professional, and supervisory duties.
- Additional duties, projects, or tasks – outside of this description – may be assigned when needed.
- Consistent with all positions in this classification, additional projects, tasks, and/or duties beyond what is outlined here may be assigned as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS – PREREQUISITES:
- High school graduate or GED required
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be proficient with standard business computer software
- Must be able to interact with customers and coworkers professionally and respectfully.
